No, bestie, my point is that you're "cissplaining" to a trans person what cancel culture looks like when I've seen far more trans people's lives uprooted by coming out and being disowned than I've seen transphobes lives even slightly shifted by being called out for shitty behavior. I've seen my friends lose their livelihoods over coming out. I've seen loved ones unable to work a normal job after being assaulted.

It might surprise you, but I can guarantee that I have more experience with the trans community than you. Also, I see trans people in a way that you never will: as a vulnerable community worthy of protection. Your view of trans people as the bogeyman is the entire opposite of reality and it sits upon a foundation of ignorance and a fundamental lack of perspective.

The VAST majority of people canceled for being transphobic are totally fine. Meanwhile, trans women are being murdered constantly.

What's at stake here is not equal. Check your privilege and don't talk over trans experiences.
