I’ve never seen any evidence suggesting that trans people commit a significant percentage of sexual assaults though. Nobody is out here giving us a bad name — Rather, transphobes are willfully misreading data to draw the incorrect conclusion that trans people are disproportionately violent, when the truth is that trans people are overwhelmingly the victims of assault, not the perpetrators.
