I totally agree. POSE is important, timely, and tells a beautiful story on top of that.
The thing I like most about the show is that it delivers really complex, heavy storylines to the audience in an emotionally respectful way. These are often really difficult to process stories, especially as a trans person, and the show respects the audience in not often ending its heavier episodes on huge cliffhangers. A heavy storyline almost always seems to end on a note of positive encouragement, enforcing the importance of resiliency for the LGBTQ community.
The balance is incredibly difficult to strike, and I commend the writers and show runners for doing such an incredible job on POSE’s two seasons so far.
