I am pretty sure that the "Small/Big Dick Energy" discourse going around the last few weeks is mostly about white people getting offended over their own misunderstanding of the intention and impact of this particular slice of AAVE.

In my opinion, Greta Thunberg did not body shame that wife-beater. It was never actually about the size of anybody's bits - it was her responding to a playground bully in a way he would understand.

I don't say "playground bully" to minimize the fact that he was far worse than a bully, but the metaphor is there because of the specific tactic implemented by Thumberg to respond to his online bullying.

Anyway, the phrasing is about the toxic culture around the bits, not the bits themselves.
