Honestly, the most offensive thing about this to me is the use of “penis/ed” as an adjective. It’s the weirdest new transphobic dog whistle to come out of the TERF cult. I can’t imagine calling someone “clitorised.” It’s unbelievably (but unshockingly) dehumanizing.

Not that the whole thing isn’t offensive, I’m just growing numb to seeing Rowling in the news for saying horribly transphobic things and this new development stuck out to me. In a gender critical forum called “Ovarit” a group of TERFs recently foamed at the mouth, screaming in all caps that I am “PENISED. A MAN. MALE. HE/HIM. MISOGYNIST.” Etc. It’s honestly bizarre, given that none of these people know me.

But really. Penised. Fucking penised. That’s what we’re going with? I don’t want to hear from a TERF ever again that they/their pronouns are grammatically incorrect ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
