Trans people will always be the arbiters of what is or isn't transphobic. Rowling the cishet megamillion/billionaire could never make those determinations, particularly while she's standing in her own pool of transmisogyny. It's like expecting or asking an arsonist to make rules about fire safety.

Trans folks have the right to determine, identify, and express our issues with transphobia when we see it. Cis people cannot have our perspective, and therefore cannot determine or define these issues.
